“The Conjuring 2,” directed by James Wan, is a supernatural horror film based on the real-life investigations of paranormal investigators Ed and Lorraine Warren. The film’s climax sees Ed and Lorraine facing Valak head-on to save Janet and her family. Lorraine uses the demon’s true name, Valak, to weaken it and ultimately banish it back to hell. The Hodgson family is finally freed from the haunting, and peace is restored.
