Doom: Annihilation (2019)

“Doom: Annihilation,” directed by Tony Giglio, is a science fiction action horror film based on the popular video game series “Doom.” The story follows a group of space marines as they respond to a distress call from a research facility on Phobos, one of Mars’ moons. The facility, operated by the Union Aerospace Corporation (UAC), has been conducting experiments involving teleportation technology.

Lieutenant Joan Dark leads the squad, which includes Dr. Betruger, a scientist involved in the experiments. Upon arrival, they discover that the teleportation device, known as the “Gate,” has accidentally opened a portal to Hell, unleashing a horde of demonic creatures. The marines quickly realize they are in a fight for their lives as the demons start attacking and possessing the facility’s personnel.

As the team navigates the dark and claustrophobic corridors of the base, they encounter various horrors and fight to survive. Joan Dark must use her skills and leadership to keep her squad together while searching for a way to close the portal and prevent the demonic invasion from spreading to Earth.
