“Terminator: Dark Fate” (2019), directed by Tim Miller, revives the iconic battle between humanity and machines, set in a timeline where the events of “Judgment Day” have been averted but the future remains perilous.

The film follows Dani Ramos, an unsuspecting young woman targeted by a deadly new Terminator from the future. She is protected by Grace, an augmented human soldier, and the legendary Sarah Connor, who bears the scars of a lifetime of fighting machines. As they flee across borders and battle relentless enemies, the trio is joined by an unexpected ally—the aged but still formidable T-800.
